Terri Deney Jackson, owner, creative director, and lifestyle photographer of Purple Olive Graphics & Photography located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Terri is a graduate of Guilford Technical Community College, where she studied photography and received her degree in Advertising & Graphic Design.

Born and raised in Newburgh, New York. Terri developed a unique eye for detail and creativity at the age of fifteen, when she was given a small disposable camera and a sketchbook to occupy time. She used those items to create photographs and art that contributed to pieces of her life.

In 2007, Terri found her way back to creative artistry. She decided to further her education at GTCC and NCAT. After graduation, Terri launched a full-time career specializing in advertising design, brand & web development.  That eventually led to a position as Lead Graphic Designer at Evangel Fellowship Church located in Greensboro, NC.  Soon afterward, her clientele expanded to Philadelphia, Illinois, Michigan, Alabama, and South Carolina to name a few. Terri was also a member of the North Carolina Emerging Issues Initiative. Where she collaborated with The Seek Advertising Company and other members to help create a smarter branding solution to help improve North Carolina’s educational system.

In early 2015, Terri has had the pleasure of adding professional photography to her growing business. She enjoys the freedom to explore her creativity while documenting special moments in her clients’ lives. Her aim is to capture that timeless moment that will be remembered for a lifetime. Her photographic experience includes, but not limited to, weddings, portraits, and fashion photography.
